CUTS international in collaboration with ICBE research fund has conceived a research project on Competition Policy and Regulation in Kenya’s Energy Sector to review and assess the Competition Policy and Regulation vis-à-vis the Energy Sector reforms in Kenya. It is in this regard that a scoping workshop was organised on 20th November 2008 with the main objective of seeking views from relevant stakeholders to enrich the scope of the research.
The meeting was attended by government officials from the ministry of trade, representatives from research institutions, private sector organisations, and civil society organizations, representatives from regulatory agencies such as competition authorities, National chambers of commerce, and donors.
